2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt (adjust later)
1 tsp black pepper
1½ tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cumin
Optional kick: ½ tsp red pepper flakes
Finish
1 tbsp butter (optional but recommended)
Chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
1. Brown the Beef (worth the extra step)
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef with onion.
Drain excess grease.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
👉 This adds real depth instead of “boiled beef” vibes.
2. Dump & Go
Add browned beef mixture to the crock pot along with everything else except butter and garnish.
Give it a good stir.
3. Slow Cook
LOW: 6–8 hours
HIGH: 3–4 hours
Cook until potatoes are fork-tender and flavors are blended.
4. Finish
Stir in butter.
Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or spice.
Garnish and serve hot.
Cowboy Up (Optional Add-Ins)
